Study of neutrino oscillations with the detectors located at nuclear power plants
Our group participates in the Double Chooz experiment, carried out in the Chooz nuclear power plant in France and aimed to study the reactor antineutrinos. Major task of the experiment is the neutrino oscillations research, particularly the precision measurement of the θ13 mixing angle of the neutrino mixing matrix by means of two identical scintillator detectors, located at different distances from the reactor core.
