He is a co-author for over 110 articles in refereed journals. Gurov Yu.B. is a highly qualified specialist in studies of the interaction of elementary particles with nuclei in accelerator experiments.

Under his leadership some unique spectrometers based on semiconductor detectors were created, and with their help, a series of accelerator experiments were carried out for the studies of exotic nuclei and nuclear states, the priority data were obtained which are essential for the development of the modern theory of the nucleus.
