If you are interested in physical laws at elementary particles level, in carrying out experiments to study these laws, in detectors manufacturing, in Universe structure and how it is connected to the microcosm laws, we can help you become an expert in this field.
Our department trains bachelors for “Elementary particle physics and cosmology” syllabus, school 14.03.02 (140800.62) “Nuclear physics and technology” starting from September 1st 2011. Before that, only specialists were trained.
Educational plan is focused on bachelors training with knowledge of nuclear physics, elementary particle physics and cosmology. They are ready for research work in: 1) nuclear and particle physics experiment technique enhancement, experiment preparation and realization, results interpretation; 2) solution of cosmology and particle physics fundamental problems related to early Universe description, dark matter, dark energy etc.
Those who successfully graduate with bachelor’s degree may continue their education in magistracy, and later in a graduate school.
Our department trains masters for “Elementary particle physics and cosmology” syllabus, school 14.04.02 (140800.68) “Nuclear physics and technology” starting from September 1st 2012. You are welcome to join “Elementary particle physics” department magistracy. It is a real opportunity to obtain physical education in "Nuclear physics and technology" area and work in
- accelerator particle physics
- cosmology and astrophysics
- neutrino physics
- nuclear physics.
You may get enrolled if:
- you have a higher education diploma
- you have obtained any degree (bachelor or specialist)
- your age does not matter
If you get enrolled, you will get:
- place in a dormitory
- draft deferment
You need to pass an interview for getting enrolled.
After graduating, you can continue your study in a graduate school.

01.04.16 - Physics of atomic nucleus and elementary particles
01.04.23 - High energy physics
